The United Kingdom's only Super Casino, The London Stock Exchange, is in danger of closing. Despite the intervention of Super Gordo and his Darling sidekick, the gamblers at the LSE are pissing away billions. Darling's big givaway for the 2009 elections just hasn't inspired confidence and the economy is set to keep shrinking.

As my pension was blown on 'snake eyes' I couldn't
help wonder if they shouldn't have placed it on 'Lucky 7'
instead. Perhaps we should all take charge of our own
destiny and just place our futures not in shares, which
only gets finance workers rich, but on the dogs, nags
and online poker houses - couldn't do much worse
could we?
