Labouring A Point

Lifebelt for Labour

Labouring and in need of a life line?

Labour are still struggling for their first piece of legislation that does not fall into the category; ill conceived, ill implemented, withdrawn, derided, or disowned.

"It's been a struggle", pointed out one berk, "but I'm sure Prescott will get something on the books that makes sense and then we can all relax".

Not all hopes are pinned on the slugger, some have suggested a good law may  come from one of the Ministry's. I spoke to a Cabinet insider who suggested their best hope lay with getting the pensions debacle sorted through legislation. However the PM is said to be extremely concerned about the grey backlash, meaning he's doing the Tijuana two-step to the toilet every five minutes.

Ramsay McMac a Scottish (no shit - Ed) Labour MP, and an expert in Law, believes time is running out for Labour for getting one thing right. "If only the wee bassers would give us five minutes, I'd sort them something oot the now, but there all Sassenachs and piles of keek to boot.
